SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION ADEQUACY EVALUATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY RELATED EQUIPMENT TO PREVENT CORE DAMAGE DURING LARGE AREA LOSS AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS
The present invention relates to a system for evaluating spatial arrangement adequacy of devices used for preventing reactor core damage in a nuclear power plant. The present invention evaluates whether or not a combination of compartment damage inducing the reactor core damage is safely separated with a sufficient space and supplements a design step based on an evaluation result. When a wide area loss accident is generated in an operating nuclear power plant, the present invention immediately determines the reactor core damage and supports decision determination to rapidly build a strategy and a plan. The present invention systematically checks each of compartment damage combinations for a lot of deducted reactor core damage scenarios, prevents a human error of a designer and improves work efficiency. The present invention comprises: a user managing unit which defines user authority in a workstation or a server managing user access authority and data; a power plant information storing unit which stores information for a power plant; an evaluation reference managing unit which generates and manages a qualitative evaluation reference for spatial arrangement and a quantitative evaluation reference by using an additional point method; a scenario inputting unit which receives a scenario list for the compartment combination inducing the reactor core damage, and inputs/modifies the scenario list on a file or a 2D/3D drawing; and an evaluating unit which evaluates compartment arrangement adequacy for each of scenarios for the compartment combination, and offers the evaluation result.
