The present invention relates to an output waveform synthesis apparatus using a phase interpolator, and on-chip monitors the eye opening (EOM) circuit for low power transmitters. In order to achieve both a small area and low power consumption for the transmitter design, the multi-phase multiplexer operating at a sub-rate is used. The phase multiplexer, equipped parallel open drain NAND gate. The sub-rate transmitter structure, and by a phase mismatch, markedly degrade the jitter performance of phase between the clock signal, despite low power consumption, and is a great obstacle for dissemination of sub-rate transmitter. In order to address this mismatch problem, the waveform synthesis structure has been developed based groups area and power-efficient phase interpolator.
