The present invention relates to a phased array ultrasonic inspection device only for pressure vessel category D joint welded part inside and a method thereof and, more specifically, relates to a phased array ultrasonic inspection device only for pressure vessel category D joint welded part inside and a method thereof, which can inspect a D joint welded part of a nozzle of a pressure vessel and a base material. According to the present invention, the ultrasonic inspection device comprises: a rotation device (10); a height adjustment device (20); an internal diameter fixing device (30); an inspection stand (70); and a distance adjustment device (40).
