An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for dualizing a vehicle Ethernet network, which can construct a dualized Ethernet network against a node which can cause a risk to safety of a driver during driving of a vehicle when an Ethernet-based vehicle network is constructed, and can perform rapid error diagnosis and restoration. For this purpose, the apparatus for dualizing a vehicle Ethernet network according to the present invention comprises: a switching hub which is connected or connects lines so that a desired node is connected to an Ethernet network of a vehicle, reads an address of a reception node from a data frame transmitted by the node, and transmits the data frame to the reception node; an auxiliary switching hub which is connected to the Ethernet network of the vehicle by being connected to the switching hub; and a plurality of nodes which are simultaneously connected to the switching hub and the auxiliary switching hub through dual connections or are connected to the auxiliary switching hub via single connections. Accordingly, the apparatus for dualizing a vehicle Ethernet network according to the present invention has advantages in which nodes set based on safety significance regarding a risk to safety of a driver during driving a vehicle are constructed by using the dualized Ethernet network when the Ethernet-based vehicle network is constructed, thereby enabling rapid error diagnosis and restoration to be performed and enabling nodes having high safety significance to always remain connected to the Ethernet network.
