The present invention relates to a method for determining an optimum design plan to remodel a building in a computer system. The method comprises: a building remodeling application element input step of inputting a building remodeling application element; and a design plan determination step of determining an optimum design plan for the application element to remodel a building by using a genetic algorithm method. Until a preset genetic algorithm termination criterion is met, the design plan determination step repeats the following steps: a genetic entity generation step of generating genetic entities for a design variable set corresponding to the application element; a genetic entity data input step of inputting energy performance probability distribution data for the genetic entities; a sample extraction step of extracting a plurality of pieces of sample data for energy performance from the probability distribution data; a predicted energy distribution calculation step of calculating a predicted energy usage or reduction distribution for the genetic entities from the extracted pieces of sample data; and an object achievement probability calculation step of calculating a probability of achievement of an object of preset energy usage or reduction from the calculated predicted energy usage or reduction distribution.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
