The present invention relates to a superconducting device, comprising: inputting design target superconducting conductor information and cable information through an input unit of an operation unit of a design system; Calculating a shape of the superconducting conductor to be designed after heat shrinkage, and calculating a shape after the radial thermal shrinkage and a shape after the thermal shrinkage in the longitudinal direction; Calculating an impedance of the superconducting cable in which the calculation unit considers thermal contraction; Calculating a pitch length considering thermal shrinkage based on the impedance of the superconducting cable considering the thermal shrinkage; Calculating an impedance matrix using the pitch length before and after the heat shrinkage as an unknown number and obtaining an inverse impedance matrix for the impedance matrix; And the calculation unit calculates a current distribution for each layer of the superconducting conductor on the basis of the impedance matrix and the inverse impedance matrix, and then selects a pitch having a uniform current distribution for each layer. According to the present invention, it is possible to easily design a superconducting cable conductor having a uniform current distribution by providing a method of designing the pitch of a superconducting cable conductor in consideration of heat shrinkage.
