A three-phase voltage type inverter is disclosed. The three-phase voltage type inverter comprises: a conversion unit configured to convert a three-phase alternating current into a two-phase direct current; an operation unit configured to detect an angle between a reference axis of the three-phase alternating current and a reference axis of the two-phase direct current, to add up the detected angle and a phase difference of the two-phase direct current to calculate a current polarity angle, and to calculate a three-phase current polarity value by using a value made by dividing the calculated current polarity angle into six portions; and a voltage compensation unit configured to compensate for a loss voltage by using the calculated three-phase current polarity value.
