Disclosed is a touch screen device for supporting coloring based on a touch input, and a color input supporting method of the touch screen device. Embodiments of the present invention, in order to allow a user to have intuition in designating a color that the user desires when the user performs drawing by using the touch screen device, use an external data input device for a color input with a color input button mounted thereon, aside from the touch screen device, thereby functioning as a palette in drawing a picture. Therefore, infants or children are supported to easily determine a color that they want through a button input.
