The present invention relates to an apparatus for enhancing the security with respect to the processing of an object in a paper shredder, which comprises: a verifying means (20) installed to produce a signal to be verified with an illumination sensor (24); a withdrawing means installed to enable the object to bypass a cutter (15) under the predetermined condition; and a control means (40) for controlling the output with respect to the withdrawing means (30) corresponding to the input of the verifying means (20). Accordingly, the apparatus is based on a method for increasing the convenience and the security in a process of shredding and discarding paper, and has effects in preventing the unexpected accident by intention or mistake.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
