The present invention discloses a collision prevention system for stereotactic radiotherapy equipment. In a collision prevention system for radiotherapy equipment including a robot head which is used in radiosurgery or stereotactic radiotherapy and is moved around the body of a patient, and a radiation generator which is mounted on the robot head, a collision prevention system for stereotactic radiotherapy equipment according to the present invention comprises: a distance sensor which is installed on the outer surface of the robot head and senses a distance from the patient to generate access distance information; and a control unit which controls movements of the robot head such that the robot head is prevented from being collided with the patient according to the access distance information received from the distance sensor. A collision prevention system for stereotactic radiotherapy equipment according to the present invention is capable of providing a collision prevention system which is capable of checking in real time a distance between the patient and the robot head approaching toward the patient and is capable of effectively preventing the robot head from coming into contact with the patient or from applying an impact to the patient by installing a distance sensor on the robot head moving around the patient, allowing the distance sensor to sense a distance from the patient, and enabling the control unit to control movements of the robot head.
