A multi-input / output communication system using a codebook is provided. A transmitter and at least one receiver belonging to a multi-input / output communication system may use at least one of a plurality of codebooks. Here, the code words included in any one of the codebooks may be vectors included in a matrix of a block diagonal structure, and the other codebook may be configured by rotating the vectors. In addition, the codewords of the remainder of the codebook may contain any of the vectors as well as the rotated vectors.
