The present invention relates to an ultra-compact ultra-wideband antenna having a rear radiation patch, having a slot formed on a radiation patch having a rectangular shape and formed by applying metallic material to upper and lower parts of a dielectric substrate having arbitrary dielectric permittivity to adjust and match the frequency and induce notch characteristics. The ultra-compact ultra- wideband antenna having a rear radiation patch satisfies a frequency band of 3.2 GHz-7 GHz of a lower ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system or more and has a compact antenna to be applied to a wireless universal serial bus (USB), MP3, a mobile phone, all types of compact wired/wireless devices or the like. The radiation patch has a simple structure, and the dielectric substrate, which has a high loss tangent value and is made with low costs, is used, thereby saving manufacturing costs of the antenna. With the single slot, frequency is adjusted and matched, and frequency notch is performed without an additional element and change of a structure.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
