The present invention relates to a high-capacity water treatment apparatus with an automatic active carbon regenerating function, which comprises: a container body in a hexahedral shape; a lattice-shaped raw water inflow pipe guiding wastewater so that the wastewater is uniformly distributed into the high-capacity water treatment apparatus; two water vapor supply pipes separately installed on the upper and lower parts of the contain body in order to supply high-temperature water vapor supplied via a water vapor inlet to multiple spray pipes; the multiple spray pipes, each of which has a branch pipe formed to spray high-temperature water vapor and multiple spray nozzles whose upper ends are screwed to the branch pipe; and a lower drainage plate which is mounted on the inner part of the container body, and which has multiple strainers formed to discharge raw water passed through an active carbon filer medium and prevent the active carbon filter medium from being discharged. According to the present invention, the high-capacity water treatment apparatus with an automatic active carbon regenerating function has the multiple spray pipes which have short lengths and are dually mounted to be divided into an upper part and a lower part. Accordingly, high-temperature water vapor is supplied to the lower end parts of the multiple spray pipes. Therefore, the time required to regenerate active carbon is reduced, and the regeneration efficiency of active carbon is increased.
