1. Implemented by the processing device, a method for diagnosing a pump installation having a borehole pump located in the borehole and having an engine on the surface of the borehole, the borehole pump is reciprocatingly moved in the borehole by a string of pump rods, in the working condition, moved by the engine, the method comprising stages in which: form a borehole diagram showing the load on the borehole pump in the borehole and the position in the borehole of the borehole pump using ground-based measurements the equations and model of the wave equation having the attenuation coefficient during the upstroke and the attenuation coefficient during the downstroke; determine the actual fluid load line for each upstroke and downstroke of the downhole pump from the well diagram; determine the calculated line based on the load values distributed over the well diagram fluid loads for each upstroke and downstroke of the well pump; compare the actual fluid load lines with the calculated fluid load lines; adjust based on the comparison at least one of the attenuation coefficients of the upward and downward paths from the wave equation model; form another downhole diagram based on at least one of the corrected attenuation coefficients for the upstroke and downstroke. 2.
