A device containing a catalog of molecular marker tests, indicating molecular marker tests, provided with notes regarding clinical applicability, an electronic medical record of the patient that stores the patient’s genetic sequencing data; a clinical decision support system (CDS) configured to track a patient’s clinical context, wherein the clinical context includes at least a diagnosis of the disease and the current stage of patient care; a directory search module configured to search the molecular marker test catalog to identify molecular marker tests that are clinically applicable to a patient in a clinical context monitored by a CDS system, the search being automatically triggered by the triggering event specified by the set initiation rules; and a testing module configured to test molecular markers identified by a directory search module in the form of computer simulations using patient genetic sequencing data stored in a patient’s electronic medical record; wherein the CDS system, the catalog search module and the testing module are implemented by one or more electronic data processing devices. 2.
