The process for typing petrophysical carbonate rocks in the oil or gas reservoir or field, which includes: identification data scenario (DS) for the reservoir or field; determining a plurality of types of reservoir rocks (DRT) to the reservoir or field, and each DRT based on the related occurrence attributes, determining diagenetic modification (DM) of the plurality of diagenetic modifiers or primary texture associated with multiple DRT; choice predetermined type reservoir (RT), based on diagenetic modification (DM), a corresponding plurality DRT and associated with the oil or gas field or reservoir, the definition of at least one type of pores; and determining diagenetic modification (DM) based on a plurality DRT, at least one type of long plurality petrophysical rock types (PRT), associated with RT.2. .
