The assembly of claim 3, wherein the matrix lenses provide 200 or more lines per inch (7.87 or more lines per millimeter) when measured along two orthogonal axes. The assembly of claim 3, wherein each lens has a focal length of less than 10/1000 inches (0.254 mm) .6. The assembly of claim 1, wherein each frame has a different observation point (VT) of one or more images. The assembly of claim 6, wherein the frames comprise frames providing at least three observation points along the first of two orthogonal axes, and in which frames also have at least two additional observation points corresponding to each of the three observation points along the second of two orthogonal axes. 8. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein the printed image is adapted in such a way that the image viewed from a normal observation point includes a first set of characters and a second set of characters, and
