FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in systems for precise positioning for linear and rotary movement of various objects. Method of attachment of a piezoelectric element in an inertial piezoelectric motor based on formation of a functional connection between the piezoelectric element, base and motor carriage, as well as between the piezoelectric element and support, pressed to the friction surface of the carriage or base; the piezoelectric element is elastically clamped between the support and base or the support and carriage respectively. Intensity of the clamping force is selected so that it exceeds the intensity of the maximum static friction force between the support and friction surface and allows the support slipping against the friction surface at sharp reduction of piezoelectric element sizes. Part of the support and/or base has a certain degree of freedom of movement in the direction of the forces pressing the support to friction surface. Developing clamping force element has a hardness that is less than hardness of the piezoelectric element, and the deformation that exceeds the maximum operating deformation of the piezoelectric element, and is made in the shape of a flat spring, resilient hinge, or helical spring.
