FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in electric engineering, and namely in systems of diesel-generator, and may be used for designing and manufacturing of alternating current sources. The alternating current generator (ACG) with crosshead engine comprises combustion engine cylinder equipped with a valve, electric winding placed inside the bottom part of the cylinder, piston placed in the cylinder with formation of one combustion chamber and fixed rigidly to the rod, magnet rings faced towards each other by different poles. The rod is made of magnetic material. Cores of electric winding are made circular with double I-section. Circular magnets cover the piston rod and placed at both sides of the cores. At the piston rod there are circular grooves filled in with non-magnetic material.;EFFECT: improved operational reliability of the system of engine and alternating current generator.;4 cl, 3 dwg
