FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopedics. Method comprises removing osteohondrous growth along medial border of head of 1st metatarsal bone. Performing osteotomy of 1^st metatarsal bone at base of head. Head is laterally displaced and fixed with a device introduced into medullary canal. Medial elevation of head of 1^st metatarsal bone is resected incompletely, and storing a proximal portion, first transverse notch on 3-4 mm distal direction from base of head, then making notch along sagittal sulcus. In resultant edge resection of head platform a hole is drilled, through which fixing device is introduced into intramedullary canal.;EFFECT: method provides stable fixation of head of metatarsal bone.;1 cl, 3 dwg
