FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining the coefficient of viscous resistance for pneumatic tyres. Method comprises free fall calibrated load with wheel bearing surface of the distorted state of pneumatic tyres in condition of maximum normal deformation. Then measured is the value of normal deformation when the wheel and wheel fall time and determining average speed of incidence of wheel bearing surface. Then coefficient of viscous resistance wheels with the help of theorem on change of kinetic energy is calculated.;EFFECT: higher accuracy of the obtained result by determining average speed of movement of the wheel axis from upper distorted state in the position of maximum dynamic deformation.;1 cl, 4 dwg
