FIELD: agriculture; machine building.;SUBSTANCE: roll mulching harvester comprises reel 1, cutting unit 2, continuous conveyor 3 with drive drum 9 and device 4 for deflecting of grain from wheels of mobile device. End part of continuous conveyor 3 accommodates gate 7 with brush 8 and lifting mechanism 6. Cutting unit 2 and continuous conveyor 3 are installed at the height of upper stem parts cutting with heads for their subsequent storage in continuous conveyor 3. Below cutting unit 2 there is additional cutting unit 5 installed at the height of remaining stem mass serving further as a mulching layer. Cutting unit 2 is extended forward relative to additional cutting device 5.;EFFECT: roll mulching harvester provides crop harvesting with simultaneous formation of a mulching layer of stem mass to preserve soil moisture and prevent its frosting in winter.;1 cl, 2 dwg
