FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: automated system for controlling neutron physical parameters of research nuclear plant (RNP) installation can be applied to producing systems for monitoring, control, and measurement within control and protection systems (CPS) of RNPs, in order to ensure operational safety of RNPs in pulse, quasi-pulse, and static modes. Automated control system includes system for measuring physical characteristics, based on multichannel, parallel principle and containing subsystem for controlling power with current and pulse ionisation chambers, temperature control subsystem, and data acquisition and processing subsystem, which includes processors, operated by given program for processing, and converting sensor signals with accumulation of data and transmission thereof, in order to form emergency protection signals, into higher level computing device, and which also includes subsystem for monitoring parameters of RNP pulse, and subsystem for control time intervals from moment of starting signal to moment of arrival other signals.;EFFECT: technical result is increased monitoring accuracy and reliability of output RNP installation characteristics in all modes of RNP operation.;1 cl, 1 dwg
