FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used for surgical treatment of fracture of lower third of calf bone. Method comprises preliminary osteosynthesis by introduction through an apex of distal fragment of lateral malleolus from below in intramedullary cavities of distal and proximal bone fragments of fibular bone using rotation of metal pin with diameter of 2-3 mm with a screw thread on its surface of an arbitrary shape, wherein metal pin with screw thread is introduced in proximal fragment of fibular bone at a depth of 15-25 mm behind line of brought together along a fracture line distal and proximal bone fragments of fibular bone. Protruding by 55-60 mm from body of an apex of distal fragment of fibular bone end of metal pins with screw thread is bent at length of 14-15 mm at 180° to form a loop. Method comprises performing final osteosynthesis, for an impactor is used to push metal pin with screw thread by 40-46 mm into bone marrow cavity of proximal bone fragment of fibular bone to contact bent end of metal pin with an apex of distal fragment of fibular bone.;EFFECT: method provides rigidity of connection of fragments, reduces a risk of infectious complications, ensures early rehabilitation of patient.;1 cl
