FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopaedics and aims at detecting high mineralisation of elbow joint (LS) in patients with consequences of injuries and diseases of LS (contracture, deformation). Method comprises performing dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry with selection of study area and determination of bone mineral density (BMD). Method includes determining BMD of olecranon fossa condyle of humerus and humeral head on affected and contralateral limbs. Calculating coefficient of BMD head of humerus bone mineral density as ratio of humeral head of affected limb to head of humerus bone mineral density of intact limb (K1). Calculating rate of bone mineral density of olecranon fossa condyle of humerus bone mineral density as ratio of olecranon fossa of humerus condyle of affected limb to bone mineral density of olecranon fossa of humerus condyle intact limb (K2). Then calculating ratio of n = K2/K1, and when n 1 ascertain contracture of LS due to deformation caused by inflammation of tissues of LS and increased condyle ossification.;EFFECT: method provides effective diagnosis contractures and deformations of LS, caused by ossification of joint tissues, aseptic inflammation of its tissues, limiting use arthrotomy.;1 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
