FIELD: measuring equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of determining cross sensitivity of piezoelectric accelerometers. Method of determining transverse accelerometer sensitivity using directional pattern consists in fact that on rotary stand platform accelerometer is installed with plane of its base in direction of impact of disturbance, accelerometer is turned in Earth's gravitational field by means of rotating platform, wherein accelerometer is installed coaxially to axis of rotation of platform and fixed with radial position relative to horizontal axis, maximum values of voltage is measured at each turning of platform through angle exceeding 90°, which are used to construct beam pattern, at which maximum transverse accelerometer sensitivity, wherein value of relative factor of influence of transverse acceleration is determined from ratio of values of maximum transverse sensitivity to axial sensitivity, which is measured at installation of accelerometer on rotary platform with orientation sensitivity axis perpendicular to axis of shaft rotation, alignment with centre of mass of inertia element accelerometer and rotation of accelerometer in Earth's gravitational field.;EFFECT: avoiding instrumental reproduction error of acceleration unit.;1 cl, 4 dwg
