FIELD: biotechnology.;SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a strain of fungus Mortierella alpina VKPM F-1134 for production of a complex of fatty acids with predominance of arachidonic acid, having growth-regulating effect in relation to plants. Strain is isolated from rhizosphere of winter wheat grown in Iglinsky district of Republic of Bashkortostan. Strain synthesizes a complex of fatty acids, having physiological activity with respect to plants, among which there is not less than 50 % by weight of arachidonic acid.;EFFECT: invention provides growth-stimulating activity on a wide range of agricultural crops, enhancing seed germination, promoting increase of vegetative mass of plants and improved formation of photosynthesis mechanism, increasing crop yield.;1 cl, 1 tbl
