FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for separating gas mixtures using short-cycle unheated adsorption. Method is implemented using a unit that includes, in particular, a pressure source, three identical adsorption columns, system of switching valves. Gas mix flow is forced under pressure through a layer of adsorbent simultaneously in one of three parallel connected adsorption columns, in which the modes of adsorption and desorption at high and low pressure are cyclically and sequentially activated by switching the system of inlet, blowoff and bypass valves. Two out of three adsorption columns at any given time are in the adsorption mode to adsorb well sorbed components of gas mixture, one is in the desorption mode to desorb previously sorbed components of gas mixture. In comparison to conventionally used units with two adsorption columns, the invention allows to ensure continuity and high uniformity of consumption of gas mix, continuity and increased uniformity of producing the desired gas, and also increase the degree of extraction of the target components from gas mixture with an increased service life of the adsorbent, reduction of overall dimensions and material consumption of the unit.;EFFECT: disclosed is a method for separation of gas mixtures.;1 cl, 2 dwg
