FIELD: engines.;SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine comprises low-pressure compressor, high-pressure compressor, low-pressure turbine, high-pressure turbine and controls to control low-pressure turbine rotation speed to essentially constant speed. Low-pressure turbine is connected with high pressure compressor by first shaft. High-pressure turbine is coupled with low pressure compressor by second shaft. First shaft coaxially passes through second shaft, wherein first and second shafts (24, 26) determine axial direction. High-pressure compressor, low pressure compressor, high-pressure turbine and low-pressure turbine are located in this order along axial direction.;EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing risk of surge occurence between low pressure compressor and high pressure compressor.;1 cl, 2 dwg
