FIELD: radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in differential-ranging systems for measuring spatial coordinates of aircraft. Said result is achieved by that frequency exploration and receiving radio radiation of on-board radioelectronic equipment of aircraft is carried out with radio receivers from low-orbit space vehicles. Received radiation is converted into digital form and relayed together with current values of spatial coordinates of spacecraft from on-board via digital radio communication line to ground station for processing signals of on-board radioelectronic equipment of aircraft. On ground station centre frequency of spectrum of scanning radio signals of aircraft is measured, maximum possible value of band of Doppler shift at opposite motion of aircraft and spacecraft is calculated. In found frequency band with a pitch of one kilohertz, mutual correlation processing of received radio signals of aircraft is performed simultaneously with two quadrature channels for each pair of signals from a group of radio signals of aircraft. Method includes comparing at each step numerical value of mutual correlation function of signals with a threshold value and moments of overshooting threshold value is taken as true value of time shift of radio signals of aircraft relative to current location of each spacecraft. Then, measured by correlation method, relative delay of radiation of radiation on-board radioelectronic equipment of aircraft is used for high-precision calculation of spatial coordinates of aircraft by difference ranging method.;EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of measuring coordinates of aircraft with simultaneous expansion of class of served on-board radioelectronic equipment of aircraft with pulsed and continuous radio radiation.;2 cl, 4 dwg
