FIELD: ecology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection, particularly, to preparing liquid radioactive wastes (LRW) to burial. Method of preparing a solid phase of liquid radioactive wastes to burial comprises dividing liquid radioactive wastes into liquid and solid phases. Solid phase of liquid radioactive wastes, mainly consisting of ion-exchange resin, pearlite and corrosion products, is being mixed with a fine inorganic hydrophilic powder with particle size of less than 100 mcm. Amount of the powder is not more than 20 % of the weight of the solid phase, produced mixture is being kept while stirring and being delivered into the package for further burial.;EFFECT: invention allows producing a product to be buried, which has a specified moisture content in compliance with standard requirements.;1 cl
