METHOD OF LIVER RESECTION IN SMALL LABORATORY ANIMALS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental surgery and pathophysiology, and can be used to study the mechanisms of development of early and late complications after performing atypical maximum allowable liver resection. Method involves the removal of 80 % of the total weight of the liver in rats. To do this, after the mobilization in the operating field of the median and left lobes of the liver, at 1 mm proximal to the boundary of the proposed line of resection impose 2-4 mattress sutures on each lobe. After this in a sharp way perform resection of these lobes of the liver with the subsequent processing of the wound surface with electrocoagulator.;EFFECT: proposed resection, being as close as possible in volume and severity to surgery of extended hemihepatectomy in human, allows to study the mechanisms of development of early and late postoperative complications dynamics of morpho-functional changes in the remaining part of the liver that is strategically important in planning the extent of resection and liver transplantation.;1 cl, 2 dwg
