A method for encrypted transmission of data between two instances of a digital communication system,characterized by the,that in the first entity a random number (rand1) is produced and the second entity is transmitted in unencrypted form,that in the second instance a random number (rand2) is generated and, together with a for a predetermined period of time (tLimit) valid time stamp (timer) to the first entity is transmitted in unencrypted form,that in both instances from the first and second random number (rand1, rand2) as well as the time stamp (timer) by means of a cryptographic one-way function a temporary key (kT) is determined with which the entities for the period of time (tLimit) can communicate encrypted.
