A process for the echo planar magnetic resonance (mr) - imaging, in the case of the raw data with a zigzag - the left-hand side of the trajectory (300, 300a, 300b) are detected, the process comprising:– Irradiation of an high frequency - pulse for generating a transverse magnetization,– Applying a sequence (201) of the read-out gradient fields (201a), which is adapted such that the read-out gradient fields (201a) alternately positive and assume negative values,– Applying a sequence (202) of phases coding gradient fields (202a), which is adapted such that the phase coding gradient fields (202a):– only positive or only assume negative values,– as a function of time the phase of the transverse magnetization continuously incrementing or decrementing,– Assume values which vary as a function of time, andwherein, by the use of the sequence (201) of the read-out gradient fields (201a) and by applying the sequence (202) of phases coding gradient fields (202a) the zig-zag - of the projectile trajectory (300, 300a, 300b) is achieved,– Detection of gradient - echoes of the transverse magnetization during applying the said sequence (201) of the read-out gradient fields (201a) and the sequence (202) of phases coding gradient fields (202a) than the raw data on the zig-zag - the left-hand side of the trajectory (300, 300a, 300b).
