The present invention relates to the use of well-defined air - and moisture stable hydro palladium (ii) halides lnpd (h) (x), wherein l of a ligand and x is a halide, either as a preform catalysts in the suzuki - miyaura cross - coupling reaction between aryl -, are given in (boronic acids, pinacolylboronate), and aryl - halides in the production of biaryl - compounds.
