Dust suction robot are usually flat construction, in order to be able to suck under furniture. Stairs are much higher locations for said devices and represents an unsurmountable obstacle. In order nevertheless to be able to suck both these steps, as well as higher or lower floors to achieve a device is necessary, in which these devices, lifting or lowering. Nevertheless, the size and, in particular, the height of the apparatus is not clearly increase.The basic unit (1) is supplemented by a device, which consists of a lifting frame (2) and a lever (3), as a result of which the basic unit for overcoming the obstacle is lifted and can be deposited on a stair. A transmission, in each case to the pivot points of the lever (3) is arranged, makes possible a horizontal guidance of the device during the lifting process and a movement, for its control is required only one motor. The arrangement of the lifting frame on the sides of the equipment leads to a rotation of the lever (3) in order to 360 degrees for a complete climbing motion. By the displacement of a weight or by an additional stop, the tilting of the device during the process be prevented.The apparatus is outstandingly suitable as a supplement, for dust suction - or wiping robot in the household or for similarly constructed, flat devices, which, due to their small wheels are not capable of stairs or similar stepped to overcome obstacles.
