It is a method (200) for producing 4d - flow images by means of a magnetic resonance system (1) described. In the process, a volumetric flow - data record, wherein the flow in a single direction is encoded. The previous step is then repeated with all the flow directions coding. From the raw data, the coding of the individual flow directions are allocated, phase images (pbd) and magnitudes images (mbd) is calculated. Finally, a 4d - flow - velocity field (4d - fgfd) based on a phase difference reconstruction of the corrected phase images (kpbd) is calculated.
