A process for the sensorless temperature measurement of a direct current motor

A method is proposed for the temperature determination of the electrical coil of a dc motor, wherein the temperature is determined without the use of sensors with the following process steps:– Determination of the time constant τ = l / r_L the coil, where l is the inductance and r_L the ohmic resistance of the coil are,– Determination of the coil temperature with the aid of the time constant τ and the temperature characteristic curve of the ohmic resistor r_L the coil.
