A process for the fault compensation of a disturbed baseband signal of a frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar is reduced with a modulation signal (2), comprising the steps of:– Receiving of the disturbed baseband signal via an interface of the continuous-wave radar is reduced (2),– Determining and outputting a a difference of the received baseband signal and of a direct voltage component corresponding intermediate signal,– Receiving a scaled modulation signal, and– Determining and outputting a a difference of the intermediate signal and of the scaled modulation signal corresponding purified baseband signal.
