The present invention relates to a radar arrangement, the a, in particular as einkanalradarsystem which is designed and operated, a radar system for emitting radar signals, and a functionally connected with the radar system receiver, which is designed for the reception of backscattered radar signals, as well as a group of transponders, which are arranged in such a way that they are functionally, in the manner of a so-called arrays, and at least first parts of the emitted radar signals and receive in such a way such forwarding in that at least parts of the received radar signals are thrown back to the receiver unit. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method for operating the radar arrangement with the corresponding process steps.
