The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for the beneficial use of social media. For example, systems and methods described herein involve monitoring social media posts and identifying socially relevant competitors. Systems and methods described herein also involve identifying the features of the product that provide a basis for comparison between the product and competitors. Systems and methods described herein may identify relevant social media discussions and respond to social media posts to influence the views expressed therein.
