The present invention relates to a process for the production of a cork particles hold strength film (100) or of a cork particles hold strength artificial leather (200) with a layer structure (120; 220) with at least one layer (126; 224) based on polyurethane or polyvinyl chloride and a surface coating (130; 230). The method comprises a pretreatment of the cork particles (128; 228) for reducing the proportion of water in the cork particles, a preparation of a starting material for the invention, a production of the layer structure (120; 220), wherein at least one layer (126, 224) of the layer structure (120; 220) is formed from the starting material and a formation of the surfaces coating (130; 230) by applying a lacquer to the layer structure (120; 220), wherein the cork particles (128, 228) into the starting material or in the lacquer or in the starting material and are mixed in the lacquer. Furthermore, the invention relates to a cork particles containing film or foil, as well as cork particles hold pure synthetic leather.
