A method and system for the offset - compensation of a hall - sensor in a motor are supplied. The system and method prevent a detection errors with respect to the position of the rotor of the motor and measuring accurate the rotational speed and position of a rotor by storing the position when output values of three hall sensors -, while the rotor is rotated slowly, by adding a control mode for the application of a rotating magnetic field with a low speed to a control, extracting and storing offset between each hall - sensor and the u - phases - position of a stator winding and then be ruled out of the influence of the offset of a rotor magnet in a normal operating mode.
