A numerical control device controls a machine tool that measures a coordinate value of an object to be measured based on a position of a movable axis controlled by manual operation. The numerical control device stores a plurality of history information formed by linking the coordinate value of the movable axis and a time elapsed from a reference time when the coordinate value is detected, analyzes the time point at which positional adjustments of the movable axis are completed based on the stored history information; and sets the coordinate value of the movable axis at the analyzed time.
