Cognitive machining head to the machining of workpieces, with a control unit, which is adapted to control the steps of:– Performing an initial machining process by which an initial workpiece type based on a learned knowledge; and– An autonomous decision meet in a previously unknown process situation for the adaptation of the learned knowledge to a secondary processing of a secondary workpiece type.
