Ratchet wrench, comprising:– a ratchet means (1), which a ratchet wheel (11) and a umstellbaugruppe (12), wherein the ratchet wheel (11) is produced from metallic material and a locking gearing (111) and a drive end (112), wherein the umstellbaugruppe (12) a metallic blocking element (123) and an actuation button (121), wherein the blocking element (123) with the locking gearing (111) of the ratchet wheel (11) is connected, with the stop (123) by means of the actuating knob (121) is controlled such that the ratchet wheel (11) to a limited extent only in one direction can rotate;– a plate (2), which is made of metal, wherein on one side of the plate (2) of a connecting part (21) for the connection of the ratchet means (1) and on the other side of the plate (2), a handle portion (22) is provided, wherein the connecting part (21) has an opening (211), into which the ratchet means (1) can be inserted, wherein said aperture (211) further comprises an inner wall (212), which blocks against the piece (123) which can press, wherein the length of the inner wall (212) is less than the thickness of the locking toothing (111); and– a locking element (3), which is made of plastic material and at the outer edge of the connecting part (21) of the plate (2) is arranged, wherein at each of the drive end (112) of the ratchet means (1) and the actuating knob (121) of the umstellbaugruppe (12) corresponding points of the blocking element (3) in each case a passage opening (31, 32) is provided, wherein a release of the ratchet means (1) of the plate (2) by means of the locking element (3) may be prevented, wherein the ratchet wheel (11) relative to the plate (2) is rotatable.
