The present invention relates to a method (100) serving to reduce the ripple of residual current induced at the rear at the level of an input of a control device of the engine (216) for a synchronous machine (222), in which the method comprises the following steps: measure (102) a phase current at the level of a winding of the stator of the synchronous machine (222); calculating (104), a current cc (214) having a residual current ripple at the level of the input cc of the control device of the engine (216) from the phase current calculated; define (106) a theoretical value of current depending on the time through the stator coil based on the current cc (214) with the corrugation of the residual current so that the ripple of residual current induced at the rear is reduced.
