Mulching to reserve of water for the cultivation of plants, characterized in that it comprises: - on the one hand, a mulching (1) comprising a surface area of coverage and of the surround which is opaque (2), which is permeable to water and extending around a central opening (3), the mulching being carried out in a deformable material and comprising a radial slot (4) making it possible to move its two ends (2a, 2b) in order to allow its positioning around the rod of a plant, and, - the other hand, a system of the drip device comprising a water tank (7) disposed at the - below the surface of the cover and to surround the mulching, this reservoir comprising two lateral walls (8a, 8b) and a bottom provided with perforations spaced apart and of reduced diameter, the said reserve of water being supplied by the water passing through said mulching, and it has a radial cut-out making it possible to move its two ends, so as to allow its positioning around the rod of said plant.
