The present invention relates to a system (1) of the mounting of a cover (2) of acoustic insulation under an element (3) of a motor vehicle engine, said system comprising the said element, a base (4) of fixing the said element, said cap is mounted in an overlapping of said element, a device (5) of fixing the said cover, said device comprising at least one rod (6), said rod comprising a central part (7), substantially matching the external geometry of said cover, and two end parts (8) forming a means for fixing said rod, said end portions being folded so as to engage in two stops (9), respectively provided on said element or on said base in order to be blocked with respect to a downward movement.
