The device (22) is for acquiring and measuring geometric data of at least one pattern associated with an optical eyeglass lens (14) for the production of glass-like ophthalmic lenses. (14) or complementary. It comprises: - a frame (24); - a support (26) adapted to carry the glass (14); - a plate (28) connected to the support (26) and mounted on the frame (24); - Lighting means (30) of this plate (28); a video system (32) oriented towards the plate (28) and adapted to produce a video signal representative of at least one pattern associated with the glass (14) placed on the support (26); and - analysis and signal processing means (34) receiving as input the video signal produced by the video system (32), - means for moving the plate (28) relative to the frame (24) adapted to make taking from an axis normal to said platen (28) any desired orientation relative to a vertical direction of the frame (24); and means (40) for actuating said moving means.
